The Experiment

An Introduction to West Hills and our Relational Lifestyle Ministry

“The Experiment” is the name we have given to the opportunity to investigate membership at
West Hills.  It is a commitment of time and energy during which you and other prospective
members will have the opportunity to discover both the theology of West Hills and experience
some of the loving, supportive dynamics of Christian life in our congregation. You are welcomed wherever you happen to be in your personal spiritual journey.

The experiment is offered on seven (7) consecutive Sunday mornings several times a year.
Each session is led by a member of staff or by a lay person and includes small group
experiences where participants are able to reflect on and discuss material presented in each session. These small groups  become your “Experiment family.”

In the final session, those who wish to unite with West Hills will meet with an elder from the session.

If you would like more information about “The Experiment” and when it is being offered, please contact Pam Moore at 391-8662 ext. 1024, or look for “The Experiment” brochures located in the information racks throughout the church.
Our next Experiment class will be meeting from September 26-October 31, 2010, 10:40 a.m.-noon in the senior
high room.

Visitor’s Coffee - coming on September 5, 10:40 a.m.

Visitor’s Coffees are held several times a year, usually shortly before “The Experiment.”

Our coffees are hosted by one of our pastors.  They are an opportunity for you, as a visitor, to have a conversation
with one of our pastors, learn about their role in our church and have a brief introduction to the ministry opportunities are available for you and your family here at West Hills.

If you would like more information about when the next coffee is being offered, please contact Pam Moore at 391-8662 ext. 1024, or watch for announcements in our Sunday bulletin or monthly newsletter.
