WORSHIP SERVICES

energized through joyful worship and prayer

Services

Regular Services:

We hope you will join us for one of our worship services at 9:00 and 10:30! We are currently going through a new sermon series titled "When God Interrupts."  There will be Nursery Care, Children's Ministry, and Next Gen Sunday School available.

Worship at West Hills

At West Hills, we aim to offer worship experiences that are Christ-centered, scripturally-focused and authentic. We believe worship, at its core, is loving God and being empowered to love our neighbors by carrying out God’s mission in the world. Worship is all about and all for God. At West Hills, you will find that we express worship through scripture, music, prayer, media, mission and spiritual formation.

All ages are welcome at any of our services, but we do have Nursery Care, Children's Ministry, and Next Gen - Youth opportunities as well. We invite you to join us for one of our three services every Sunday! For more information about any of our worship services, contact Luke Burns or Michael Dryver (at the bottom of the page).

Our 9:00 a.m. service and our 10:30 a.m. service are identical services.

In both of our services we feature timeless hymns sung by our choir and contemporary worship music.  We call our services "blended" services.  We believe there is something special here for all people of all ages.

From the moment you meet Michael, you can see his passion for music and for our Lord! He directs our Chancel choir, handbell choir, gospel choir, women's ensemble and male chorus. He is a very talented composer and arranger as well. He has performed at the Vatican in Rome and at the Holland Performing Arts Center here in Omaha. He also served as Artistic Director for the Voices of Omaha for a number of years. He loves to welcome new members into our musical ensembles at West Hills!

Family
I am an only child so my family is very small, but my grandma, uncle, aunt, and cousin all live in Omaha so we have been known to have a few big parties and fun family dinners.
Best thing about your job
My favorite thing about my job is getting the chance to have a great time with the students and showing them that living the Christian lifestyle is not only fun, but actually the most fulfilling way to live.
Favorites
SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 2:8-9; SONG: Send Me by Lecrae; MOVIE: Courageous; BOOK: The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown; SNACK: ice cream
Something that gets on your nerves
One thing that drives me crazy is not being able to find what I am looking for at a grocery store.
Some hobbies/passions

Something people may not know about you
When I first started college I thought I wanted to start my own Christian record label and produce great Christian music. Found out I have a much greater passion for ministry than for business.
